Outside of our laboratory, we have facilities readily available to us in the Chemical Engineering Department including:
- Thermal Analysis
- Rheology
- Infrared Spectroscopy
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
- Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
Elsewhere at CCNY and CUNY ASRC, we have access to:
- X-ray Diffraction (XRD)
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
- Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy
- X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)
We are are within walking distance to the new CUNY Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) that has extensive shared-user facilities. Many other CUNY campuses also have smaller shared-user facilities accessible to us. We are also a short drive or LIRR away from Brookhaven National Laboratories where there are many shared user facilities available.
